Hey everybody, I thought this was interesting. Apparently, the Olympiakos (the same team who signed Childress) are looking to possibly sign LeBron in 2010. The only thing that makes this interesting is that they have no salary cap, which means they have a lot more bait to lure him in.

I think he stays in the NBA. I can't ever imagine him leaving... but you never know what that kind of money could do to an athlete.

Yeah, this is a non-story -- just a publicity thing for them at best, a fan fanatsy at worst. There is a potential problem there for the Josh Childresses of the world, not for LeBron who makes most of his moeny off of endorsements anyway.

A major reason that players like Andrew Bogut and Andris Beidrins got ridiculously huge multi-year contract extensions recently was fear of highly competitive offers from several European teams. Total money offered maybe sealed those deals, but no doubt also looked at was growing Euro currency strength against US dollar, plus often more favorable tax situation in Europe.

I want to buy it. But i wont ever beleive it. 40 million per year, will get the job done tho. it would do wonders for basketball globally
