This is lurid, and IMO rather extremely likely to be anything more than a desperate money grab from a scumbag. But the case has actually been filed, and it would be OJ-huge if there was any merit, so I thought it deserved a thread no matter how unlikely:

Yeah, but underlying source = court papers. Which does not have to make it anything more than a strike suit looking for a settlement before bad publicity overwhelms its target, but still, its an actual case.

Full blown winnable merit or not, there needs to be some basis for filing such a suit, don't ya think? The source is not the issue as the ultimate source, as Brick points out, are legal papers.

This could well ruin Shaq's reputation and although not as bad as OJ, it's getting close. Unlike OJ, I think Shaq values his reputation as a nice guy, jokester type person and this would cast a shadow bigger than his. It's a bit hard to believe isn't it?
