Shaq Out for Rest of Regular Season

First Vlade goes after Dallas, now another ex-King going after an ex-Laker! Well, maybe not intentionally, but, according to the picture, Scot Pollard seems to have been involved:

MIAMI Apr 19, 2005 — Shaquille O'Neal will miss the Heat's final two regular-season games but is expected to be ready for the playoffs.

The All-Star center has a deep bruise to his right thigh and won't be able to play Tuesday against Charlotte or Wednesday at Orlando, coach Stan Van Gundy said.

O'Neal, who was injured in a collision shortly before halftime of Sunday's 84-80 win over Indiana, didn't participate in the Heat's shootaround Tuesday morning.

"He's getting treatment. We expect him to be ready for the weekend," Van Gundy said.

Miami, the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, will open the playoffs at home either Saturday or Sunday against Cleveland, Philadelphia or New Jersey.

O'Neal averaged 22.9 points and 10.4 rebounds this season.

Pollard wasn't involved at all. Jermaine O'Neal drove at Shaq and when he went airborne his knee landed square in the middle of Shaq's thigh.

Hmm, now it's not as funny. Oh well, disregard this thread :)

I thought it was a "Vlade went after Dallas/Scot went after ex-Laker" thing, but it's not... so who cares :D

Shaq has played in 158 of 158 playoff games in his career. Isn't it a remarkable coincidence that his injuries always fall during the regular season?

You know that would change if he was a King.

Yes the cheeseburger missed its target but it was THREE YEARS AGO! Let it die, Laker fan!

I think Shaq is tough, but those injuries have definitely affected his playoff performances the past three seasons.
