I am not so sure as I tuned to the station half way into the conversation. Both Shareef and KT insisted that it was nothing. And Artest was saying something like "everyone should see or be in a fight once a month.. something like that.." Its hard to follow what he tries to imply sometimes..![]()
Muss gave a big hint in who the starting PF will be on Kings.com in one of his practice interviews. He said that the starting PF will be picked in how he fits in with the rest of the starters. He said that he wants Mike, Ron, and Brad to shoot and that the starting PF will complement them. This, IMHO, tells me that KT is starting.
I'm not reading too much into this. The guys got heated. A bit of shoving incurred. End of story.
Boys will be boys.
And actually I continue to think that is a wise idea, much in line with having Haslem start over Antoine Walker in Miami. SAR is a better player and better teammate, but having him start alongside 4 other guys who want to shoot just takes away from everyone's game, including his own. Also, wiht him off the bench we at least have a bench rather than just a bunch of ?s.
If Kevin could step up as a #3 gun and score maybe 16+, and if SAR could come off the bench as a top 6th man and get us maybe 12, I think that's about the best/most balanced structure we could have, adn would give us the best chance at a strong year. Throw in Salmons and Garcia (if he's healthy) as utility benchers to fill in around the edges and be reasonably complete, if small and soft.
Meanwhile, Mo Taylor sits in the background, biding his time, fingers tented, cackling softly...
"Dance, puppets, dance! Buahahaha!"
~~
Yeah, that's gonna happen.
Dude, let go of the Miller hate. It's really getting to be beyond tiresome.
Ron-Ron just kills me sometimes.
No, wait, maybe I should just say he cracks me up.![]()
While riding his exercise bike of course.
competition does make for better products and lower prices, but have you heard of the prisoner's dilemma? id rather not explain it, but basically, each entity would rather take or give less than optimal because they do not trust the other entity. this combination causes both parties to suffer.
The whole NBA way of guaranteeing huge money without a need for the player to perform is just wrong. Then we just have washed up guys getting paid millions and doing little to nothing.
After Kenny Thomas and Shareef Abdur-Rahim reportedly got into a near-fight at Kings camp, Ron Artest told the Sacramento Bee that it was one of the best fights he'd seen in practice, and then recalled a time when "Vitaly smacked Mike (Bibby) in the head." Bibby answered, "That never happened. That must have been one of those times Ron blacked out. You know he blacks out 75 percent of the time. He probably didn't take his medicine this morning."
