Has anyone else noticed that the fact that Miller actually stays at home on screens is what is making Miller so much more effective?

Hawes, and Thompsons (Mikki is not included he cant screen anyone) both run out to set a screen but never hold it for more than half a sec. then they always roll to the basket, thus looking for their own shot... Miller stays and it frees him for the pick and pop shot hes made his signature... or it actually frees up the ball hander to penetrate (martin,Beno,Salmons) to the hope or gets them free enough to take a good shot.

Actually setting and holding screens is a must in the kings style offense, Miller has shown how much it frees up the offense.

sure miller is very crafty and is clearly more savy than Hawes and Thompson at this point, but just doing the basics can go a far way.

Great point. The "kids" are still too eager at many things and need to have Brad mentor them into such "tricks" as holding a screen. Both Spencer and Jason have good intermediate jumpers as well. It's all part of the growing process they have to learn. Big plus is having a Brad to show the way.
