[Game] Sacramento Kings vs Lakers 4/13/11 Game Thread BELIEVE

Unfu**ingbelievable. We could have forced the lakers into a first round matchup with Portland followed by no home court in the second round and ofcourse we can't hold a 3 point lead against the POS's. Ugh, god damn it I hate these lakers.

Sorry, folks, but I'm not complaining. We played a great game. Came from 20 down. We all want more I suppose.
Hey, don't make me out to be a bad guy. How can you argue? Coming so close only to get screwed.... thats the Sacramento Kings. My love for the team is unquestionable and I wouldn't trade our history for any other teams....but thats what the Kings history is.

I have been saying it all season. You have to question the way Evans plays the game. He just plays a selfish style of ball. Hes young and talented, but he has some major holes in his game that he needs to be addressed if he wants to take that next step.

Proud of the fans out there at ARCO. They showed up and were a huge part of that run.

A fitting end to the season--and perhaps the Sacramento Kings. I think I'm done with basketball in general.

Agreed 100%. The NBA has become a joke the past decade or so. Maybe I'll become a huge Sac State fan. At least they will never move.

THIS TEAM NEEDS A COACHING CHANGE AND A CITY CHANGE STAT!!!! the nightmare continues.... we will always have the good memories but in the end at least for me the good has been overshadowed by the bad... a team that could never do it... and we can always reminisce about losing tonight in another game we should have won...

maybe in anaheim this team can take advantage of being in a successful city and finally sign a real player or two and will finally be able to beat LA... when it counts

no forget your stupid city for letting them walk... sacramento shot down the Kings left and right... the maloofs are trying to survive... and Anaheim is throwing money to bring them in....

dont blame me for whats obvious.... and while were speaking about obvious... The OC is gonna attract serious talent... no more fixer up'ers just to land a star.... the Royals are going to be able to out right contend for a thru and thru star all the way.... via free agency ... unheard of right?

Yeah, because being the third wheel will really pull in the free agents.

The Kings were up by 3 with less than 10 seconds to go - Lakers ball.

Everyone in the world knew that Kobe was going to take the shot - and probably make a 3 ptr, and it would be tied.

Everyone, apparently, except the Kings coaches and players.

Kobe did not receive the inbounds pass - Pao Gasol did.

Why he wasn't IMMEDIATELY hacked and held, I will go to the grave not knowing.
The Kings allowing Kobe to receive the pass almost guaranteed a loss in the most important game of the season.

If the future of the Kings is anything like the past, and like the present - with all sincerity, I think it is better for me that they leave the city.
I cannot abide rooting for this stupid of team anymore.
This game has crystallized things like no other event could possibly have made this clear -

The Kings embody the spirit of trying hard, coming from behind, and ultimately failing because of self-induced tragic flaws.

Let me take a wild guess, you're a Miami Heat fan on the side.

I haven't posted here in a very long time, mostly because I have been insanely busy with school and with work. I've even missed a number of games this season for the same reasons. But i couldn't believe what I just read. Sure.. we're entitled to our own opinion. But i sincerely feel as if I've lost something tonight. I am not even near Sacramento for the majority of the year and I am still able grasp the significance of losing this team. I fell in love with this team when I was 9 years old. To think they're gone hurts more than I thought it could. At least have a heart and use some common sense and realize that your comments may not be appropriate to fans who are hurting tonight.
