Marty just ain't a good enough writer to pull off the apologist tripe disguised as concerned open letter maneuver.
I opened my morning Bee and read Marty's column. I think he missed the mark and did Artest no favors. RonRon/Bill doesn't understand subtle. This much is abundantly clear.
Marty should have shot from the hip and told it like it was. His column could have been short and sweet.
I'm fed up with people making excuses for RR/B's failure to muzzle himself. He did much the same thing in Indiana so he cannot pretend to be unaware of the ramifications of his actions. He just doesn't get it.
