Why for Sac: Gives them expirings and draft picks. Really begins the rebuilding process.

" " Hou: Gives them Haslem and allows Scola to develop as an nba player, even tho he seems to be nba ready but you cant be to sure. Haslem would provide much needed rebounding and hustle. And makes Houston a legit contender now. Without giving much.

" " Heat: Gives them another championship team imo. Adding Bibby of course is a wonderful move. But know they solve their SF problem imo. Salmons steps right in a vet per se'. Would play the role of Posey only thing a much better all around game. Novak provides energy and hustle off the bench.

'Toine starting at the PF for Miami? No way in hell that ever happens. The Heat are already paper-thin at both forward positions, and this strips them of any possible starters. They aren't that desperate to get Bibby. That trade only makes their team worse.

Miami is open to trading Haslem for the right player, but they're giving up Dorell Wright too; not to mention two future 1st?!! Their future for Mike Bibby and Salmons? I seriously doubt it.

soooooo whats the deal for Bibby Mia offered prior to this trade proposal???

HMMM maybe was it Jason Haslem couple picks for Bibby!!!

Petrie wanted more expirings! Thats why the deal didnt go down. Miami is getting reallllly desperate so they would pull on this imo.

So if that was the intial proposed trade Riley made to Sac....ask yourself who was going to play PF then. That same Tonie Walker!!!

Regarding the original proposal, of which we do not know the details - J-Will was likely involved, but why would the Kings want Haslem in the first place? They're already overloaded with bigs who are marginal starters or rotation players. I think that the reason why the deal hasn't been done is other than Williams, the only other semi-attractive trade pieces they have are Doleac and Wright's expiring contracts. They aren't going to give up Wright, and the Kings aren't going to want Doleac. Thus, they're at an impasse. Haslem remains the Heat's starting PF, and Wright and Walker will battle it out for the starting SF position.

No one knows what the offer is. Speculation out of Miami has us trying to dump Bibby + KT or SAR on the Heat for JWill + Haslem + Doleac + Wright/pick and Miami said no.

It's on almost every Heat dis board. It's just speculations like what we're doing here. Most everyone there believe that we're trying to dump KT or SAR on them for all the expirings they can offer plus extra. Note that this was a few months back. Not the trade scenario that was stirred up by the media this week. I have included a sample from a writer for Heatbeat.com. Again, this is just speculation out of Miami.

According to league sources. the Kings have not ruled out trading Mike Bibby. If Bibby is traded, the Heat are viewed as potential trade partners. The trade would include Jason Williams going to Sacramento and Bibby going to Miami. The deal could include Shareef Abdur-Rahim orKenny Thomas as well. Whether or not Udonis Haslem will be included is still uncertain.

In the future, it would be nice if "just speculation" from a team's message board was noted as such.

;)

"league sources"
"have not ruled out"
"If"
"potential trade partners"
"could include"
"whether"
"still uncertain"

Those are all words that, when put together, mean "We don't know any more than anyone else but we'll make it sound tantalizing."

:)
