Miller + Douby to Chicago for Hughes and their #1 draft pick.

Chicago gets a rejuvenated Miller to take over thier Center position. That will take the pressure off of Noah, and Miller in the high slot opens up space for everyone else. Plus I could see Miller working well with Hinrich doing pick 'n pops on the perimeter.

Hughes is nothing special at all, and we would just bury him behind Martin and let him come off the bench every once in a while to play D. We get another pick around the #10 range, and combined with our pick around the #10 range, we could really do some damage.

Anyone like this trade for us?

Anyone like this trade for them?

NO way does Chicago do that trade...I like Miller, and Im sure Chicago does as well...but Im guessing that they like their first rounder even more...

Maybe, If Gordon signs a contract similiar to or less than what Chicago already offered, then Chicago might take a look at it....maybe

I was actually thinking of a Miller for Hughes/sweetner deal as well. I'm sure it depends on what they think that pick can bring in. Maybe, if not the pick, either Thomas or Noah? Wishful thinking, perhaps?

Chicago are still very much in the playoff race, so that pick could be lower than expected. I guess I'd do the trade if it were offered, but I wouldn't be cheering for it to happen either

The Bulls didn't want Brad back when they had Elton Brand and Artest - when Miller's outside game complimented Brand. Why would they want him now? And for a lottery pick no less.

They could have drafted Hawes last summer, but they opted for Noah. They traded Miller away. They had Brand and traded him for Chandler. It just seems to me that Chicago all along wanted a defensive center who can block shots and rebound.

Although Brad had a bounceback year, he still is saddled with a bad contract. Unless youre trading him to a contender you arent going to be able to get much for him. There's no way the bulls would give away a lottery pick for an aging center with a long and large contract.
