the bobcats have a glut of centers and no backup incase crash aka gwallace goes down... i would prefer diop but nazr contract is shorter by one year.. diop will bring us that defense though
nocioni for them brings a bench for the 3 and 4 spot

so the line up for kings would be

Evans/Udrih/Rod
Martin/Garcia/Udoka
Casspi/Greene
Thompson/Brockman/May
Hawes/Nazr/Ajinca

for bobcats it would be

Felton/D. Augustine
Jackson/henderson
Wallace/Nocioni
Diaw/Nocioni
Chandler/(who ever was not traded nazr or diop)

While I'd be ecstatic to get Okafor/Noah/Perkins, and probably Ok to get Dalembert, I'd don't think I'd be happy trading Nocioni for either Nazr or Diop. I guess I've never been too impressed with either of them.

Nazr is 32 so he's too old for our team.
Diop is younger, but he'll be turning 28 this month so he'd still be the old man on the team.
I'm not saying that being 28 is too old for our team, but if we do pick up a 28 year old player, then I'd rather it be a player who is going to be an impact player for our team and I see Diop as more of a back-up than as the answer to our Center position.

We've got to find a way to deal Nocioni and clear up the logjam which will be created upon Kevin's return, so let's keep those ideas coming.

Diop's not the answer, but at least he'd bring something to this team that we need. Noce is superfluous, and the minutes crunch will only worsen when Martin and Garcia return.
