JT has been projected as our PF of the future by Kings management but to everybody else, he's probably a hyper-active PF who comes off the bench and plays 20 minutes. Sure, when we drafted him we had hopes that he was our PF for the next 10 years but sometimes the plan doesn't always work out. I think it's becoming fairly clear that JT will not be our starting PF of the future. We will be looking elsewhere to fill that hole. With that being said, I don't think we should expect another "PF of the future" with any JT trade. I consider JT a sunk cost at this point.
JT's a solid starter. If you have a STUD C next him(aka Hawes in 3-5 years) then he's a great complement to a team as the #5 option, with a bonafide SUPERSTAR on the roster and a legit big man presence(Hawes in 3-5 years).
