What do you guys think White's potential is (if he overcomes his anxiety)? Possibly a good bench player for us down the line when we are evtnually a Play-Off team?

No it is not. RW quite frankly looked lost out there in this last 1 min of play. But what really concerns me is the deeper question of what position(s) he can or should play. As Brick pointed out the larger forwards are towering over him,and I did not see the kind of foot speed to play against most SGs, so where does that leave him? I guess if he is showing something in practice a small contract and trip back to Reno might not be a bad idea but he thus far does not seem ready for prime time.

Well, of course the reason is that he's no longer under contract, but saying that he's not traveling with the team does make for a snappier headline.

In the long list of "wastes of time" this franchise has subjected us to over the past several years, I don't think Royce White merits much more than a "meh".

His second ten-day contract expired and we have not offered him another contract at this point. If we do, it has to be for the remainder of the season (only 2 ten-day contracts per player from any team). Right now we have Reed and now Cunningham on ten-days so it would seem unlikely that we sign White.

No contract for White and not likely IMHO for summer either. He needs to get a lot of minutes on the court somewhere first.
