The mic was getting passed around. Also, I'm assuming its hard to ask questions when Ailene keeps standing up for a better angle to examine Frank Mason's abductor muscles.

I'm assuming the regular members of the media were so dumbfounded by Ailene's behavior that they forgot to ask anything

I wish I was there cause I would have asked him what it was like to hoist a championship trophy a few months ago -- you know, the goal of every player at every level they play at. JJ's got some bragging rights over his rookie peers early in their careers.

The Sac media sure dropped the ball today. Not many questions and some of the ones they did ask were pretty awful. Par for the course, I suppose.

She's so ridiculous. It's an indictment on the Bee that they've kept her on board so long now. While I'm sure she has a few fans and loyal readers out there, I've honestly never spoken to anyone that believes she's any good. I don't think I'm exaggerating in saying that 90% of Kings fans can't stand her or her writing. That said, she must get clicks on her content so the answer is to STOP doing that! If the 90% actually refrained from viewing the car crash as they pass by, she'd be out in a month.

With regard to Harry Giles reaction to the question, it was priceless. Although, I'm not sure I buy that he doesn't know whether a cadaver ligament was used or whether it was harvested from his own body, but I certainly understand him not wanting to divulge the info. Still, not at all appropriate to get into those details at the introductory PC. One of many reasons why she's referred to a "Poison".

I'm afraid Giles may be Ailene's target. She needs a villain to write about. That's her m.o. Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this will be the last we hear of Ailene going after the knees.
