Right now I'd go for Parker, but I won't vote yet as it's far too early.
I had a similar thought. Are we able to re-vote or is it a one-and-done type of voting system? It would be cool if everyone could change their vote throughout the year to see how popular opinion sways as the draft nears.

I am sure there will be plenty of polls as the top 10 become obvious. In my quick scan of the internet, the top 6 seem very special and all except perhaps Randle actually fulfill a need. Not that I would turn down Randle as BPA but BPA may not be so easy to determine. What's new? I think the possibility of an outright whiff in the top 6 is pretty remote.

I love both players, but I think it's funny how people will side with one player or another after just one game. This reminds me of the LeBron vs Carmelo debate in 2003.

This poll will close in 7 days. A new one could be started at some point after that.

I agree with Dime Dropper, way too early at this point, but if I had to choose now, it would be Parker. To be honest, I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. Long term, Wiggins may have the most upside, but in the short term, Parker would be the best SF on most teams in the NBA right now. And that's a quote from an NBA GM by the way, which I agree with.

I would have to agree with this statement, and I kind of got at that in my other rookie SF thread. I agree that it's way too early to decide, but since this poll closes in 7 days I voted. :p

I chose Wiggins because he has more upside. I agree that Parker looks like he has a lot more skills that could instantly transfer over to the NBA, but hey didn't we say the same thing about Thomas Robinson? That's why I opted for the guy with the highest ceiling, Wiggins.

And yeah I did just use Thomas Robinson and Jabari Parker in the same sentence. Mercy Kings fans, mercy!

If Paul Pierce and Steph Curry had a baby, it'd be Jabari Parker.

Pure shooting stroke, can drive, can finish, can pass, excellent rebounder instinct, steals the ball at a good rate, moves lateral well on defense.

His ceiling is Kevin Durant. His floor is Glen Robinson with a much better jumper.

Sorry but if Thomas Robinson could shoot and handle the ball like Parker, he'd be a star.

Robinson never had perimeter skills. I was a big fan of him in college but he hustled, banged, and banged some more. That was his game. He will be a solid rotation player in this league, but even as his fan, I cringed when the Kings drafted him. Reminded me a lot of Ike Diogu.

Jabri parker. People love athletisicm but his scoring skills are elite he's paul peirce except bigger. He is also deadly from 3 and has what you can't teach elite basketball IQ. I also love his motor and killer instincts wiggins been said to lack a high moter. Also parker would fit in perfectly with cousins and mclemore

Might want to back off that one. :) Big Dog was a human midrange jumper. It was what he had. It was what he did. Everything else? Maybe not so much.

That is true. But Parker is EVEN better.

Big dog could never stroke it from deep like Parker.

Before we get carried away, there's no chance Parker stays another year to play with Okafor and Jones, right?

Would be rather crazy if he did. That said, Parker does seem like the kind of kid who would be willing to put off the pros for a year to help win a championship.

I'm not even sure Wiggins has more upside than Parker. Obviously my opinion on this could change since it's so early, Wiggins is more athletic, and right now that's it. People fall in love with athleticism, and it certainly is important, but Parker is no slouch athletically either. And I'd have doubts as to whether Wiggins will ever be as comfortable with the ball in his hands as Parker is. Only time will tell.

Duke are on TV tonight for anyone interested in seeing Parker again. Really looking forward to it, hopefully he has another strong game.

Jabari is scoring 20 different ways tonight. Didn't shoot much from deep. Must have heard criticism that he's only a long range shooter.

Seems like everytime I check the box, he's leading the team in rebounds and steals.
