Has anybody seen it yet. i have and I loved it. I have a biased opinion though, because I am a huge supporter of the Rocky Franchise since i saw the first one when i was 10 years old.

Never saw any of them...so I doubt I'll watch this one.

Spoilsport......;)

I saw the 1st couple, but never really got into the series of films. As is the case with most films that are repeated and repeated and repeated, I found them a bit too redundant for me.

I'm with you, Purple Reign. I haven't seen this latest chapter yet, but I will. And I'm sure I'll enjoy it as much as the others...

That's what I figured. :)
All I've ever heard from Rocky was "Yo, Adrian!":p

I have the box set, loved the first four, but the fifth one was so atrocious that I'm afraid to see the latest one. I don't want to spoil it anymore than it already is.

Saw it. Loved it.

It was the perfect way to close out the series. I was truly skeptical going in, but it was more than fulfilling. I really liked it.

A few changes would have made it better and there were a few needless characters with no development, but I can't complain.

No no no. Rocky V is comedy gold. Actually 3 and 4 are too but there is enough real movie in those two to watch them seriously as well. But 5 is a pure laugh riot, between Tommy Morrison "acting", the ridiculous street fight and the fake Don King "Touch me and I'll sue" how can you not love it?

I haven't seen the new one yet but I will since I am a Rocky fan and a boxing fan. It looks to be more much more serious than all but the original.

The latest movie definately comes full circle. Brings you almost back to 1976 when Rocky was just starting. The fight scene was the best since 1 and 2. I thought Stallone out did himself and Antonio Tarver was in the movie just enough. Not an overblown character, but just enough to fit is amatuer acting skills to make him believable.

Great Movie.

I stopped watching after 20 min.

I have watched some horrible movies lately... I am getting upset about it trust me.... Yes some older ones are sprinkled in my list but top 5 worst since Dec 1st. (btw in order of suckness)

- The Good Shepard
- Garden State
- Rocky B
- Marine
- The Pursuit of Happiness (btw a decent movie, just kinda gets to that point were your going WHAT this dood just sucks.. then the ending and real life, after reading / hearing the real story... there was a lot of hollywood drama tossing in... makes it even worse.

wait, wait, wait... this movie was pretty bad... i LOVE rocky movies(have ever since i was a kid)... but this one had ALOT of misques... first off you say it was the best fight since 1 and 2??? are you crazy?? all they did was throw flashing flashes of light into the punches to make them seem "greater"... in the first 4 you could really feel the magnitude of the punches and of the fight but in this one i couldnt quite get the same grasp or same feeling in the 6th as i did in the previous ones...

2nd of all how can he go straight into a heavyweight fight with minimal training and no FREAKIN PRE-FIGHTS??? WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT??? they shouldve had him do some small time fights, build his credibilty up, have some more jawing between him and tarver than have a heavyweight non "exhibitional" fight... add all that and it would have been a great movie... minus all that and it is what it is... a marginal movie as much as i hate to say it.

I thought - it was a good movie. At this point - You either like Rocky or You don't. #5 sucked pretty bad the rest is pretty good, nery predictable but still good

sylvester stallone has only been in 3 good movies his entire career:

rocky
rambo: first blood
cliffhanger

that's it. everything else he's done is complete rubbish, including rocky 2-5, and rambo 2-3 (on that note, did you all know that stallone is resurrecting john rambo for a fourth outing sometime in 2008?). the jury's out on rocky balboa for me, cuz i haven't seen it yet, but the premise is loaded with so much gimmicky cheese that i'm not sure i want to.
