PS, 13-2?? That's gotta be the biggest deficit in a conference finals yet.

FTR, my band would have looked a lot better if Slash had fallen back to my #2, because I then would have went with John Paul Jones for bass or Bonham for drums. What could have been... In any case, the best band won. Good luck to both, but I don't see how Francisco doesn't win this thing.

hey to run this strong in this competition is an honor. if we win... bitchin' and if not, well it was fun putting it together - I seriously have heard my band in my head as it was coming together and I was busting out "Sticky Fingers" and "Layla and Other Love Songs" and "Allman Brothers Greatest Hits"... and it was a joy all the way.

I just have a hard time with Brick's group... I do not see Kravitz and Slash playing funk and/or Bootsy Collins not playing funk.

Thanks a lot it was fun. I can't wait to play again.

When it looked like I was going to get into the Finals I told my wife "Hey Lorie I'm going to go the finals in that rock band draft. You see it was not all for nothing!". I had after all made her crazy as I agonized over whether to take this guy or that guy... you know.

I can't describe it well enough in words - how perfect was her timing and her wry loving subtle condescension as she said "that is wonderful honey.... what do you get if you win?"
