I just got home from work and turned on the TV. That was just awful news to hit me right away. I loved Tim. He was tough, but fair. I loved his interviews. He will be missed greatly.

RIP. If college journalism schools wanted the definition of a real TV journalist as opposed to what passes for most today - Tim Russert... brilliant, fair, tough, thorough, respected, simply the best.
