as of RIGHT NOW Moss is making out alot beter with his new team. have you heard anything about moss? nope.
He is in Oakland, Moss fits right in with all the other lunatics on the team. Plus, slacking is allowed there.
Kings10Bibby said:
what should be done to TO. DONT LET HIM PLAY. Let him sit a year b/c he has no trade value right now b/c who's going to want his crap.
T.O. has plenty of trade value, he's the same guy he's always been when he was a Niner, that didn't drop his value, look at the contract he signed with Philly. Talent is valued higher than conduct when it comes to the NFL.

the wierd thing is all these players were gone from their respective teams at season's end (not sure about boston)..
Yeah, Boston too.

I doubt that he does, actually.. Well not after getting thrown out of camp..I got this from S.I.com...

"We'll round up the usual suspects for you, but you'll see that a trade for Owens just isn't much of an option. Because it really does take two to tango, and trust us, the Eagles are partner-less in this dance for the time being."

'Said one veteran club executive of Owens Thursday morning: "He's got no value in the league right now. There's no one who will take on that problem. He's got nowhere to go. After that performance yesterday, in his driveway, no one's going to make a move to get him and then have to give that guy more money. He's Philly's problem.'''

I'm not sure any team would pay him or trade for what hes "worth"

This is the next stage of Owen's game plan. He's ticked off the Eagles and they say they won't trade him or renegotiate. Next step, act up and become so much of a nuisance they'll just cut him. Problem over. Contract voided and be a free agent able to sign with anyone for the money he thinks he deserves.

As the other poster stated earlier, in the NFL talent is much more important to teams than behavior. If the Eagles release him (and I hope they just suspend him over and over just to really urinate in his gatorade) I have no doubt several teams will jump at him for the richer contract he's crying for. If not for Parcells, Jerry Jones would already be buying his lunch, among others.

Eagles ha ve already said they won't paly that game. He either plays, or they suspend him without pay indefinitely and let his career rot away. And good on them. Costs me nothing, costs you $$$ and years. You persist long enough, I'll cost you the HOF too.

Jerry Jones and Parcells are not going to get Owens. That would be like Kobe playing for the Kings. Just is not going to happen.

I think Owens is hated way more then when Deon came over to our side.

With that said Brick said it perfectly. I was just watching his interview at half time and its all POOR TO, It's a bad contract, BLAH BLAH BLAH... AGAIN why did he sign it if the contract was bad? I just don't get it.

he knew no other team was interested besides the eagles and ravens. he didnt want the ravens so all that was left was the eagles. if he wanted to play so bad he'd basically sign any repsectable contract.

but what gets me is how he turns it into poor me.

anyone else notice the t-shirt he had on? i looked like a pic of him hugging his mom. did drew tell him to wear that shirt so he would come off as a family loving person?

I say bench Owens and not pay him 1 cent untill his contract expires. His tude sucks, and his me first mentality doesn't belong on the football field. Owens should have picked a sport that doesnt require teammates.

"Hey Terrell, SHUT UP!", yells thesanityannex
"You ain't my momma sanityannex, you can't talk to me like that!", Owens replies. "Only mamma tells me to shut up, OK?"

At the rate Owens is going, he will cost himself the HOF. His credentials speak for themselves, but at some point people are going to start to have to consider the crap he is doing. Not that TO even cares. He won't get paid for going into the hall.

I hardly think T.O.'s off field antics will keep him out of the hall of fame, he hasn't killed anyone or been convicted of using steroids yet.

T.O. at this point is not a HOF player based on stats alone. If so Alvin Harper would be in the HOF. Granted AH career was a lot shorter then TO's. Yes I know TO is better just comparing similar stats during playing time.

Did anyone watch that crap TO said on ESPN last night? Is this guy actually serious. I cannot wait until Philly does what I suggested way above and as Brick said.

As far as the NFL contracts and the excuse that "they can cut me at any time" WELL that is BS, every player in the league knows this. Lets see what happens next CBA, I am willing to bet that nothing changes on that front. Who's fault is that? The owners? I think not.

Now TO is making fun of MCNABB, This guy is a real piece of work and actually doing it in one of the most hostile places. I think most fans will turn on him. He really has no clue.

I admit I don't make 6+ mil a year, its hard for me to understand his position 1 year after his contract. I seriously hope they suspend him. If they waive him that will be worst case scenerio.

As a Cowboy fan I despise TO. . .BUT in the NFL you go for the money when you can. He isn't holding out, he's just being a pain in the ***. The Eagles knew this was going to happen, and should have traded him. The Chargers had two first round picks and need a WR big time, and they would have had other suitors. You knew TO wasn't going to cave, and the Eagles chose to play hardball. This was a bad call by the Eagles, and I can only hope it derails their season.

And McNabb deserves any criticism he gets. He may be a media darling, but he is still the 2nd biggest choke artist QB in the league behind Manning. The only time I can recall McNabb delivering in crunch time is that 4th and 26 against the Packers. Otherwise he sprays ball everywhere and his lack of conditioning kills him.

This was before McCardell right???
No, this last draft. They still need another reciever. McCardell is nothing spectacular. I would have shipped that Castillo pick for TO in a heartbeat if I was the Chargers, especially after the Raiders picked up Moss. That's going to be a tough division. The Chiefs improved their defense, Oakland should have a killer offense (and suspect D), and the Broncos didn't get worse (or improve). The Chargers could easily slip back into the pack this year.

Even if San Diego picked up Owens the Raiders cant stop LT. He runs over the raiders every year.

OK, that's one team. The Chargers did not look good in last year's playoffs, and did not do anything siginificant to address their holes on O.

The Raiders division has running back heavy teams. KC, San Diego, Seattle, and Denver always has some kind of running attack, ect...

The Raiders should be awesome on Pass D, but if they cant stop the run expect them to have another high round draft pick.

Yeah, but what does that have to do with San Diego needing a reciever? They'll still lose their first playoff game.

didn't look good in the playoffs??? Did you watch them? They lost because nate "f'ing" kaiding can't make a field goal if his life depended on it. It was all him, not the team. He still can't make a field goal, he's 0-4 in his last attempts, and they have all been game winners. he's out. chargers win division...........easily.

McCardell and Parker are a perfect combination of recievers.

Holes on "O"?

QB: Drew Brees-comeback player of the year
RB: LaDanian Tomlinson-best RB in the league
WR: McCardell/Parker-Hardnosed WR duo
TE:Antonio Gates-best TE in league(Tony who?)
O-line:cohesive unit

Hardly looks like they have holes that need filling.

Back to TO, I used to like him when he was first a niner but then he started his s*** He really needs to be suspended and I hope the Eagles do it and follow through with what they said. That's probably the only way he will learn and I'm not convinced that will work but it's worth a shot. Athletes who act like this really need to be taught a lesson before it becomes commonplace and ruins the sport.

Owens just doesn't have respect for anyone. He's such a talent that he gets away with it too...

It also doesn't help that football is not his true passion (basketball is).

Still, the guy is fun to watch and he does perform. It is a ton more enjoyable to watch the drama unfold on someone else's team however ;)

it'll end when he has his own reality show that pays him just as well as a top tier reciever. i cant watch espn or nfk tonight b/c its always TO. this is what he wants. how about we just forget about him and see how quickly he comes back.
