Remember the KINGS - favorite player pictures

Prospect
VF21 can we do a thread full of pictures from the past? pictures of Kings players, past and present. Kings basketball is very depressing right now, and what I do when I'm depressed, I look at old pictures. Pictures that put a smile on my face, makes me feel better. VF, you know Peja is my favorite, so I will start with him and HEDO...! Not the Kings uniform, but still (2) of my favorite Kings ever.

I think that's a great idea!

We have threads in the Art Studio about family pics, pet pics, funny pics, etc. I think one of historical pictures of Kings players might be fun.

I'm moving this to the Art Studio. Let's hope people add their favorite Kings player pictures.

I loved those black jerseys...

this picture has to be photoshopped.... i dont remember that style of jersey being in black......

You can actually buy those now but the numbers are in black too. I saw a Bibby jersey like that at Sports Fever in the Arden Mall today. I don't recall the price though.

It always amazes me to see that Webb and Peja are virtually the same height.

As far as what Kevin is doing, that's from Fandemonium. I'm not sure what he was doing, but I think Bonzi was doing the Hokey Pokey.

;)

God, those lamé uniforms are lame.

lamé? lame? Get it?

...

Sometimes I really crack me up!!

Note: I'm trying to find the source of that picture of Webber. I honestly did not PHOTOSHOP it. I'm not that good with Photoshop. ;)

my turn- these were the guys who made me fall in love with the game...

Okay, I'm not sure who created it but I did go back to my old hard drive and found the Webber in black image. It's entitled "dream road" and it's dated January 6, 2003...

LOL! I remember that game and I loved it. I think Miller ended up being called for a foul for his handing hitting KG's face if my memory serves me correctly.

You got that picture from me; I know because I recognize the filename I gave it. And it is photoshopped; you can tell in the shoulders and down in the shorts where I didn't cover all the purple.

this sounds interesting,

George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh have been drafted into the NBA. According to Daily Variety, the pair's Section Eight production label has teamed up with NBA Entertainment and Maloof Television to produce an unscripted comedy series set in the world of hoops, which HBO is negotiating to pick up.
The new series will focus on the adventures of creating an expansion team in the NBA and will be told through the eyes of the team's coach, a veteran player, a up-and-coming rookie and a cheerleader. The episodes will follow the team and the key players as they struggle to find their place in the league. The untitled series will combine a mix of reality and fiction.
Although no deals are in place, former Dallas Mavericks coach Don Nelson is said to be negotiating to take the role of the coach, with former Sacramento KINGS center Vlade Divac in talks to take on the role of the seasoned vet.
