LAS VEGAS – As the Kings' summer league squad held its first practices Wednesday at UNLV's Cox Pavilion, Israeli small forward Omri Casspi was forced to only observe because of a paperwork holdup related to his former team, Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Casspi, who was taken with the 23rd pick in the June 25 NBA draft, is hoping to be officially released from his current contract in time to participate in today's practice.
