Hope You have great holiday and don't gain too much weight;)

Kings are 5-7. Still not great but better than LA Kobes, having a realistic chance to go on another winning streak and still with a chance to finish November with 8-7 record which would be nice considering everything. Also nice to see that we are finally beating Eastern conference teams at "ARCO" ( currently not worthy of the name because looks more like a movie theater than a sports arena).

Interesting how one solid game can cause all things going on around here. It was just one game. These Kings are not to be trusted yet. They need more time but they also need to continue preforming on a level they did last night and even better. You can't just "show me the money" and then hide it from me. If I know that it is there I want to have it. I want it all and I want it now.

Playing or not playing injured ? I am not going to look for excusses either way because they don't matter here. I have sme experiences with that issue (obviously not nearly on that level). I have played injured and sometimes it helped the team and sometimes it hurt it. What I learned is that unless one is 100% sure that he/she will not hurt the team in any way - one should let a healthy teammate step in and do the job.
This is Kings - so not hard to find examples at all. I wish that CWebb skipped games instead of playing hurt many times which caused him to go from a superstar and an MVP (he was never awarded one because his team did not suck) to an "old man with a big ego." Same goes from DC and Bobby. They all meant the best and were under lot of pressure but it ultimately it hurt us in the long run in a big way. You know exactly what I mean. In 2003 if Webber skiped 20 regular season games and it cost the Kings 10 extra losses but made it possible for Webber to play instead to watch - we would have been fine. Can't turn the clock back but can put it into perspective.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also can't believe that such a big deal is made of the fact that Pedja missed couple games. Pedja is what he is and this is his 7th Kings season. Anyone surprised ? So far his "not playing" has not hurt us but actually made other step up which we desperately need. Bobby Jackson comes to mind imediately and is inability to help us because he kept getting reinjured and could not play. It went so far that some people (around here too) were acusing HIM of being soft and selfish and what not. Bobby Jackson ? Please ! Now Pedja certainly has no such credibility but I don't believe for a second that Pedja (whatever he might be) did not feel like playing those 2 games for whatever reason other than just not being able to. Also if I am a defender and I know that my opponent has an injured hand - what do I do ? For future references - as Danny Fortson. He is a tough guy. Would You want him on the Kings team ?

I don't care what comments what player makes and to whom. I don't care wheather the other player gets "insulted" or whatever. That is a locker room dynamics. Happenes everywhere. Been there done that. However, it should always stay in the locker room. For many reasons. I think that Kings have bigger problems that having another "distraction." I mean the media can't wait to blow things out of proportions. Why give them fuel. To quote a distinguished member from this forum - "shut up and play"

Great win last night for many resons. A 5-7 vs 4-8 looks much much better. We had guys step up and show potential. We had offens and did not need defense. Scored lots of points. Our defense still sucks. Our FT shooting is actually getting worse and I am not sure where we at with TOs per game compared to other teams but I can imagine - mediocre at best. Lots to work on but lots to look forward to.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
If we lose to Rapters - Beating nets won't really mean anything. I saw Raptors last night where they gave it away to Clippers. The are as "bad" as Knicks. Should take them seriously. Still we should certainly win this but I don't trust thid Kings team yet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - thank god we have other people to run the game because asking Mike to score and run the game would be too much. Don great job last couple games. Nice to see the shot being back again.
Pedja - we might not need him again and we don't really know wil he play or not but he has always played well against Toronto.
Bonzi - effort is great but his play has still been incosostant. FTs are awful probably due to his 'injury" Hope he plays more like he did last night.
Brad - bad game, good game, bad game, good game. How about tripple double for a change
SAR - turned into turnover machine last couple games. Still adjusting but very usefull for this team

Bench has shown signs of life but I will wait till I see it again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - still has a job which according to the BSPN "experts" should not be the case. The said - he would not last.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Raptors - 1-10 going on 1 - 11. So many players have Tony Delk potential. Most of them I have never heard of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go Heat !
Go Bucks!
Go Bulls !
Go Jazz !
Go Nuggets !
Go Nets

I hate BSPN. TNT is cool, Barkley might be stupid but he's right on some things and hilarious, like Kenny Smith and EJ is pretty smart.

GO KINGS!

The key is for the Kings NOT to drop to the Rap's level on this game and just put em away. Which reminds me I really want a Robo Rapter for Christmass!

The Raptors play no defense all of the time, so we should be able to score at will. Needles to say losing to this team would be VERY disappointing. When they are on, they can score as well. And certainly we are fully capable of turning in a turd-like defensive performance ourselves. But since scoring 100 should be virtually automatic, unless we completely collapse defensively they are still going to have a hard time beating us on our own floor. I hope.

I guess Peja's not playing again tonight. Sounds as if Garcia is the young'un bringing the energy in this game. Close game to this point. Reef's stats look impressive right now.

Raptor's shoot 55% for the first half. Kings' offensive rebounding (7 to 2 edge, Garcia with 3) has helped keep them close. Defense will need to step it up in the second half.

Less intensity and focus tonight. Geez. Maybe VF is right and they had too much turkey yesterday. Well, I don't want (a) turkey tonight. :(
