Rajon Rondo redux

I feel like we might as well just keep bumping the original Rondo thread.

Otherwise, we're gonna end up with a Rondo thread after every win, because this guy is the mutha luvin' catalyst!

I feel so ashamed to have doubted him before the season! There's not enough crows in the world.... :p

Rondo has been great. I had concerns about where he was health wise. Rondo has shown he is healthy and when given the reins he is a floor general with no peers.

The most sincere compliments for a very exciting Kings team! I bleed Celtics green, and it's just going to be soooo nice to see the Kings taking and owning California.
Treasure Rondo, guys... he's the real deal. Watching him night in, night out, is something I envy you guts!

just for the records... it was the pre-game vs the Raptors... Oct. 06th.

Gladly eat crow on him. Needs to keep playing with this fire and energy, but we're seeing 2011 vs Cavs in the playoffs Rondo right now. He's been able to rack up assists since, but that fire and passion on the floor has disappeared since. Really do think he's using this season as a giant middle finger to the rest of the league and has been revitalized playing next to Cuz.

I agree. I hope he stays for two or three more seasons.

Rondo was a fantastic signing. In the early times in past seasons when suggestions cropped up on here to get Rondo I would always chip in "no, he's a bad egg". When we did sigh him later on I said nothing. I like him and he seems to be nothing but good for this team. He's my man now.

He's gonna get suspended for brushing a Mav from the sideline.
What the hell is wrong with his head?

carmichael Dave is talking about the incident from a last night. He has the video on his Twitter feed.

Long as they do it immediately it should be no big deal to our quixotic playoff quest -- we should beat the Lakers anyway, and lose to the Warriors anyway.

And hey, after Rick Carlisle gets to stand out in midcourt on a key late game possession I don't want to hear any whining about one of our guys doing something from over on the sidelines. :p

I believe it was Gandhi who said, "If you're not cheating, you're not trying."

I said the video and I don't think that warrants suspension. I mean, Rondo can say he is just loosening is legs. The fact is, he didn't really make contact. If he did, D-Will would react.

This is obviously an extreme, but if someone throws a punch and misses, does the NBA suspend him? I believe the answer is yes.

In this case, if Rondo tried to trip an opponent intentionally from the sideline and missed, does the NBA suspend him? I don't know. It obviously wasn't malicious, but it was an attempt to cheat. I'm sure the NBA's track record would show that they doesn't take too kindly to players who are caught cheating (or attempting to cheat).

People need to quit being such drama queens -- he didn't try to trip him! He tried to kick him in the balls. :D

and the way things turned out, I wish he had connected
