Why don't we seem to use the pick and roll much anymore? I see Brad/Martin use it every now and then, but I don't notice Bibby, Artest, Salmons, Thomas, SAR, etc. being involved in the Pick and roll anymore. I mean our guys might not be the best PF/C's, but they can definitely set picks and roll to the basket. It's not complicated to do and it's a good weapon to use sometimes. We used it all the time with Adelman.

Brad's the only one big enough to set picks large enough, and he's not agile enough to roll to the basket effectively. Bibby has no confidence in his shot (can't blame him) and defenders can just go under the pick and restrict the screener's movement instead of fighting through the screen to stay with the shooter.

Exactly...limited skills from the rolling post player combined with a suddenly ineffective shooter spells doom for the pick and roll. You can fake it for awhile if only one of those is going well, but with both elements in the pick and roll deemed ineffective, you can basically pull it from the play book.

Must resist urge to post comment about a kindergarten child's definition of pick and roll...
