Question for Ryan

I don’t even want to think about that. I was looking at Sacramento pictures the other day thinking "damn, everything is so far apart from each other". As much as I love it here, Cali is still my home, but I think there's a lot we can learn from London and the rest of Europe ::cough: THE TUBE: cough::

I'm leaving a week from today but before I leave I'll make one more London thread and further discuss my overall experience.

You couldn't pay me enough to ride THE TUBE. Of course, it's been 25 years since I was there...I'm sure it's changed...I hope. :)

It's the cleanest underground metro I have ever experienced. You would be amazed.

WoW! I was in Tokyo in '97 and found their system amazingly clean compared to anything here in the US. I just figured that was typical for Japan, which had virtually no grafitti or litter. It's good to hear other countries are cleaner as well.

I ride the washington metro every day, and I could count on one hand the number of times I have seen grafitti, or trash (other than newspapers)

Now, the Washington metro is cool. I like that one. My sister lived at Andrews years ago..I used to go every summer and travel to DC quite easily.

Ryan-all your pix have been awesome. Thanks for shring, it brought back great memories for me. Have a safe trip back.

The tube is the only way to get around in London esp. in the West End and the 10 pound congestion charge. I thought about not paying for it when I went back last November but I thought better of it

Have you taken a Night Bus yet?

One of the things I miss most is going to the West End and there's a ton of people in the streets @ 3 am, esp. in Leicester Sq.
