An update from our member who asked that Mom be put on our prayer list:

You know, I think it's already working...my mom is still having surgery in the morning but we are relieved that the surgery will be less intensive than we thought even this afternoon. I hope this works and that she will finally begin to recover.

Keep "Mom" in your prayers, folks! Thank you!!!

If you could, please say a prayer for my uncle who just suffered a heart attack yesterday. My mom told me last night that one of his arteries is 90% blocked but that the doctors said he should recover well. I'm praying for a full recovery and a release from the stress he's been under lately.

My mom was hospitalized last night. They are doing tests to see whats wrong as I speak. because of Chemo shes had the flu for several weeks.

Id appreiate prayers for my mom and grandpa who hopefully will be out soon too.

My Grandpa was released today and my Mom should be out in a few days. Shes doing much better!

I hope everyone here doesn't think this is inappropriate, and I feel bad for asking because everyone here is praying for a person rather than "something". As you are all aware, my dog Rocky has been sick off/on for over a year. Well, I had to take him back to the vet. So, I would appreciate your prayers.

Don't feel badly about asking. God's creatures come in all varieties, shapes, sizes, etc. Some with two legs; some with four; some with none. If God can make them, we can pray for them.

Update on my mom (breast cancer)...She had her follow-up appointment today..her lymph nodes were clean, so no chemo needed...just radiation. Thanks again everyone.

Great news that the nodes were clean. Prayers do get answered. I will continue to have her in my prayers, hoopsfan.

You guys probably know by now that I am slow/old/crazy. Anyway, I am just now finding out that there were prayers from this group when I had my surgery back in November. Kingsgurl send the thread to me. Thanks so much!!! I have been telling everyone for so long that I felt God's presence during this time and now I know that I had lots more prayers than I realized. Even the doctor was surprised how well things went and how well I am doing now. It is an eighteen month recovery time, minimum, and I am a very active grannie who can't sit still for long. [maybe an hour] maybe! I am doing well and just wanted to say thanks. Don't want to go into gruesome details but I have two rods and ten pins holding my lower back in place now. Keep me in your prayers and I will give God all the Glory. He is good!!!

update:mazie is doing well. both colleens are doing good,still dealing with a lot of going through personal belongings of their dads. my dad is getting better everday. julie is still having a rough time. nancy's eye surgery went well, she's down to one pill.

nancy sent me a nice note: "thank you for your prayers. every prayer helps! i also pray that that every pray-er is blessed. your prayers have given me confidence as i go into chemotherapy. God is good and he has a plan for each of us."
