Power Rankings THIS WEEK ! ! !

Mark Stein had the Kings moving up to #16 this week which is about where they belong. And with Brad getting player of the week, other areas will start to wonder whats going on in the Big Rice Paddy that is home of the Kings.

Power rankings are a guess and may be worthless but they are no worse or better a guess than any guess given by a person on this forum.

Well TP or not, I like Stein's "road to relevancy" comment. So much so that I have a new signature. I suppose all my posts will suffer the same fate as the rankings do (if they don't already).;)

When I looked at it we were #14

Comment in the NBA Rankings: Suddenly, you're looking at the Kings' roster and realizing that this is a pretty good team. Add them to the "Haves" group.

A bit premature but I go 15-16 right now. Lets see their last 2 home games then road rest of month (one home snuck in). If they win more than loose on the road, then they go up in power rankings to 12 or 11, yah think?

The only value I see in the power rankings is media recognition. Small market teams like the Kings get no love from the media and every little bit helps confidence of the players and fans. Honestly, I think the #15 spot is better for us because Houston has won 12 of their last 15. However if the Kings can sack up and sweep this homestand to .500 then we might see and even bigger jump.

Wow, now THAT'S a bold statement about our mediocre-sorta decent team that's still in rebuilding mode...sorta.:D
