Post your KG rumors here thread (merged)

Of course, New York will remain the "frontrunner" as the media will continue to focus on KG to LA, KG to NY, KG to Cleveland, etc.

Umm... having lived in Cleveland for 13 years, I can definitively say that Cleveland is NOT a media hotspot, LeBron and all. I'm with you on LA and NY, though.

Do you think it will happen?

Hey guys just wonderin', in case KG wants to be a "champ" do you think he will join the Kings? Cause Kings has a missing part and KG is the missing key. Kings will be a deadly team if KG joins our team. Even deadlier than Spurs! So what do you think? Ofcourse, you don't want to be in the "Hall of Fame" without a ring, right?

P.S. Remember what Finley did?

Oh please! Oh please!

i doubt it happens... im hoping it does though!
Yeah I hope that happens w/o letting anybody go (Peja, Skinner and BONZI).

Miller - Point Center! :D
KG - Rebounder, Dunker and SCORER! Not to mention BLOCKER (We need one)
Peja - 3 point man!
Bonzi - ALL AROUND MAN :)
Bibby - One of the best PG today.

And

SAR - 6th man of the year!:)

Ithink KG will join another team because Minnesota will never get players who can help him win a championship. Lets see if Petrie can work his magic in the offseason:D

I just don't understand the obsession with KG.

You'd trade your entire team for one guy. It didn't work for Minnesota and it won't work for the Kings.

Right now the Kings are rife with talent.

I'd rather see where that leads us than go out and get a KG.

It's make more sense to get a Ron Artest, kind of guy, that shores up our defense than trade away our entire team for an overpaid KG.

Minnesota is incompetent.

Just as importantly, we who have been watching this team for years have seen a team built around KG's idol come within a FT of winning it all. EVERY team wants a former MVP. But we in particular know exactly what can be done here with exactly that style of player. The obsession is warranted -- there are a handful of players at that level in every generation. Its just not terribly likely, especially in light of the recent statements by the Wolves' owner.

I'm going to merge this with the official KG thread over in the NBA forum.
