And why wouldn't he? AMiller has shown that he can be a pretty solid point guard when his teams are not playing for anything of significance.

If the Lakers are going to get one of those guys, might as well go after the grandaddy and finally bring in Kidd just in time to watch him begin to slide.

Depends on the definition of PG. Steve Kerr is 1st in 3pt percentage career, B.J. Armstrong is 6th, Craig Hodges is 25th, one spot ahead of Peja. Derek Fisher was streaky enough to score the record for treys made in a playoff series (15 for 20 vs SA, 2001) and he's 8th all time in total playoff treys made.

None of those guys was actually the PG in his system though w/ Pippen, Harper, Bryant or Jordan actually running the offense. Dre would fit this mold.

Assuming Andre would be the straight up initiator, he would fit in w/ the others who didn't have a consistent trey.

Doesn't matter much anyway. Byron Scott was the last reputed shooter who actually lived up to the label in LA. Horry's Houston treys dried up. Rice went to crap. They tried George McCloud for a minute, he built a fire station. Radmanovic is nowhere to be found. And the guy in my avvy drafted Vakeaton Wafer 1 pick ahead of Monta Ellis (cries).
