Postgame Quotes-at Minnesota
March 19, 2006
Rick Adelman![]()
"It was a six-point game and we just turned it over every time. It just killed us... 28 turnovers. It's just too much. We had 28 turnovers and 13 assists. That's usually the opposite for us. That sums it up pretty good for me. Can't say much more than that."
"You can't overreact either way... whether you win a couple in a row or not. We've just got to come back and stay with it. You say that right or wrong. It wasn't the way we wanted this trip to happen. The schedule doesn't get any easier. You have to come back and try to get a win at home on Tuesday."
"It's not a letdown. It's not that when you win a game, everything is going right and if you lose a game, everything is going wrong. Every team that is fighting for a playoff spot is very similar. The Lakers just lost two in a row on the road. You only worry about yourself. If you lose games, you will slip back. You have to respond and get a win on Tuesday."
"We had 11 turnovers at halftime. You have to be better. There wasn't much energy in the first half with either team. We have to bring it. We have to find a way to get ourselves going. You shoot poorly and turn the ball over on offense."
Ron Artest![]()
"It was just one of those games, we'll get it back though... I've got to look at the tape, check it out, see what happened, but we'll get it back... We've just got to bounce back. There's nothing to worry about. We've just got to come back and play hard in these games."
"(The referee) just got in the way by mistake. He was trying to avoid the ball and he slipped and caused the turnover."
Brad Miller![]()
"That was just ugly. It felt like we should give a dollar back to every fan that came out, that's how terrible that game was for us... We just played absolutely awful today. We didn't get many stops. The reason they scored, though, is because we had quite a few turnovers. We just played awful, didn't have any energy, and we just did a lot of things real bad today."
"That (playoff race) is what makes it embarrassing for ourselves to go out and play so badly. We know that we're not eight games in front or locked into position yet. We're still battling to get into the playoffs right now and trying to get a better seed."

Agreed with Ron.
Good point about the Lakers by Rick, no one has really brought up - they've lost two in a row on the road too, and could well lose a third one vs. an energetic and improved Celtics team, tonight. And again (after the Lakers loss to Seattle last week), doesn't matter when they'll likely be hyped up for us at Staples, Wednesday. Back-to-back for us, but that's a big game.
