I think this would be fine if TPTB on this board have decided that, despite the name, this site will become an Anaheim Royals board beginning in late April. Maybe they want to keep it as a Sacramento Kings board, a repository of memories where fans of the Sac team could reminisce and give each other moral support. It's probably not possible to comfortably house both purposes at the same URL, but who knows? They might want to try that, for all I know.
Being a fan of a sports team is an irrational, gut-level thing. People are going to all sorts of lengths to try to justify their perspective with logic, like speculating that Maloofs/KJ/Stern/whoever are stupid/evil/incompetent/whatever. Some then use those same speculations to try to demonstrate that other people are wrong for disagreeing. THAT is a waste of pixels, since it's our gut, not our brain, that's in charge of these things. We feel how we feel.
And if TPTB here want to figure out what direction this site's going to go in, I think that'd be great.
