Regardless, I don't want to read too much into these grades, it's a nice positive considering the turmoil going on...let's just have a nice and quiet off season from here with no more firings or negative media reports, get healthy going into training camp and preseason and get the season underway on the right foot.

No professional is so daft or blind that they could possibly confuse Vlade's series of blunders, bumbles, and miscalculations with anything remotely approaching competence, let alone an offseason warranting an "A".

For real though, I expect more positive reviews once we start kicking @$$ and taking names. This dude is just ahead of the eight ball.

Read the article. It's not about the grades so much as it's about Chris Sheridan actually making an honest appraisal.

Whether or not I always agree with him (and very often I do) Sheridan is a long time, reputable writer who knows the NBA. I ended up nodding in agreement with most of his assessments, not just for the Kings but for all teams. I'd argue a few grades (the Knicks did better IMO than he credits them, it's a copout to give the Blazers an incomplete when losing four starters, I think the Mavs had a poor summer etc) but I think he's got most things pretty well dialed in.
