Rained most of the night, but just a few showers today. Nice in that it knocked down a lot of the pollens. Unfortunate in that it's just going to contribute to more growing of future fuel for potential wildfires.

I sure agree. Flowers that were just beginning to bloom up here - flowers that need sun and only popped out of the snow towards the end of April - are not doing well. This very late rain is going to make fire conditions much more dangerous later in the summer/early fall as it will vastly encourage the growth of more fire fuels like grasses.

I'm thinking of starting a "Here Comes The Sun" audio marathon. Just play it 24/7 and hope Mother Nature gets the idea.
