Thanks for taking the time to start each of these, kingsnation! I pretty much agree with you all the way down the line except for this matchup. I do not think the Clippers can outlast the Grizzlies, especially if Blake Griffin isn't 100%.

Yep! Opening weekend of the playoffs is always one of my favorite weekends of the year.
This series was one of the toughest to predict for me, personally. The difference-maker, IMO, was that if it does go to 7 games, the last game will be in LA.
This one is shaping up to be a classic series. However, I hope tonight's game is no indication of what lies ahead. I expect a better performance down the stretch by the Grizzlies going forward. Imma stick to my Clippers in 7 prediction, even after what I saw tonight...
One of the better matchups of the first round. Series currently stands at 2-1 Clippers with each team defending their home court. Game 4 tips off after the Nets-Bulls game, and we'll see if the home team continues to get the job done. Someone once said it's not a series until the home team loses and this might well be the case with these two teams.
Looks like the Grizzlies have the momentum and the will. And playoff Blake Griffin looking more and more like playoff Dwight Howard. Color me not impressed.
Grizzles and Z-Bo looking better and better. Griffin's weaknesses are definitely being exposed. This game is gonna get uber-ugly before it's over. Griffin is clearly frustrated and has already thrown elbows, even if the officials didn't call him on it. Just hope Randolph can keep his cool and not end up getting tossed as he's already been called for one questionable technical.

in all fairness, and as much as I dislike Blake Griffin, the guy was playing with an ankle sprain. the only real advantages he has over Z-Bo are his speed and athleticism, take that away and he's left with nothing much. my real takeaway from this series: Lamar Odom ruins EVERYTHING.
