The Nuggets GM smugly talking about how their bench was still going to be good even without Bruce Brown before the season only for that unit to give them absolutely nothing in Game 7 is the NBA equivalent to a Larry David moment.

Mike Malone playing Nikola Jokic the entire game like he was possessed by the spirit of Thibs probably wasn’t a great coaching choice but when the only alternative is playing small and having to give more minutes to Justin Holiday or using washed Deandre Jordan, I can see why he did It.

Not sure if a lot of the stuff the Mavs were doing against the Thunder is going to work as well against a team that isn’t playing a 150 pound stick man at center. T-Wolves much stronger against pick and rolls too.
It’s a different matchup from the Thunder but just because they may not win the same way doesn’t mean they won’t win another way…Dallas has the length athleticism, and overall size to matchup with Minnesota. Plus, I don’t think Luka and Kyrie will have vanishing acts like Jamal Murray, Michael Porter and later Aaron Gordon had in this series. Denver complete lack of depth finally bit them. I think Dallas will have an easier time scoring while being a tougher defensive matchup than Denver.

We’ll see though. Mostly I think it will be close games and I like Dallas’ closers more

Seeing how these Western Conference playoffs have played out I believe there is more parity than there has ever been in a long time. There really wasn’t THAT big of a difference 1-10. Not like years past where there was clearly one or two teams that you knew were coming out. When we lost to the Pelicans for the 47th time in a row to knock us out I was feeling like we were pretty far away. Don’t get me wrong, our roster still needs upgrades (Barnes and Huerter, rim protection) but watching the Wolves and Mavs advance to the Finals, (both teams we fared well against) has me feeling a little more optimistic we could see a similar run if things fall into place.

Easier time scoring vs Twolves?
Doncic had a couple of vanishing acts vs Thunder. Irving is 32 yro. Wolves are the deeper and better team defensively with the 6th man of the year and imo the top 2-guard in the league, surprisingly dispatching the defending champions (a top 3 team in in the league) on the road no less and sweeping a Suns team not far off from Mavericks talent-wise.. Wolves are now battle tested. The Mavericks are an average defensive team putting it nicely......they remind me alot of the Kings. Will Give them 2 wins kindly.
