the shame of Kobe not playing well is that the Lakers were playing quite well without Kobe. If he's not ready to be back, he could easily sit and allow his teammates to pick up the slack (which they had shown they could do in the first two games of this season).

I always wanted him to make a play for himself and not rely on 2 3 even 4 diffent picks to get a shot. He made the rest of the team work harder for his shot then their own.

I'm not saying that Pedja is a clutch player, but he can hit a big shot. While he was a King this was usually Bibby's or Webber's job.

but

KINGS back then had 2 other good clutch players ... they did it all ... while Peja watched them ... why run and fight for a shot when everyone knows who is going to shoot ... he became bored of that and was unhappy ... thats while he left ...

and another 3 pointer plus a foul right before that. Pedja scored close to 15 points in a row for the Kings in the 4th and OT. Just as I said the fans don't seem to remember that well.
That was the key home game in that series.
