Phoenix Vs. Spurs

Can the Cure for insomnia, put the high flying Suns to sleep?? Who do you guys like in this one? I'd have to give the edge to the Spurs since it's in San Anton, but the Suns are off to the best start(24-3!) since the 72 win Bulls. I'm really looking forward to watching this one.

I expect the Spurs to win; the Suns have proven themselves to be vulnerable to teams that are solid across their front line, which San Antonio is, and the Spurs match up well against Phoenix at almost every position... Unless Phoenix decides to start a true center to protect Marion, in which case, the Spurs match up well at every position.

We all know you're kidding, nAj jAn, because we do not support nor do we allow gambling for real money on Kingsfans.com...

And boy, should nAj jAn™ count his blessings for that...

Spurs whipping Suns in the third quarter...currently outscoring them 20 - 6. Spurs up 20+ right now.

No D

The Suns make the Kings look like masters of defense! I think the play worse D than the Mavs of a couple years ago. This is getting ugly.

this is it. i guarantee the Suns will set after this heartbreaking loss, realizing they're not good enough this year to challenge for a championship in the playoff. :) back to earth, baby.

Big Time.

yup... and let there be no doubt who the odds on favorites (at least in the West) is. The Spurs are THE team to beat.

And we get our shot on Sunday  (Hmmm...didn't we have an evil smiley?)

Here's hoping the Kings bring their swagger (especially since I'll actually be there)!

Will this work?

Well perhaps this last loss it what it will take for the starters to focus on execution and rebounding. The good news is that Nessy is out matched by Brad and over all the Spurs offence slow enoughfor Tag to play several min which could make things tough for Parker and Ginolbi AND alswas seems to mean better rebounding for the Kings. As far as match ups go The Spurs do not presnet nearly the problem Minasota does.

First, I don't agree with the slow remark. Tag doesn't just flourish against a slow team, he does well on D period, blocks the middle no matter how fast the other teams offense is.

Second, I would love to see Tag play Duncan a LOT. Duncan will get his points but at a major price, plus Parker may be a little uncertain about driving in. Tag's long and bodies up well. Fouls are a concern but hes' got six of 'em to use!

Iknow your big on Tag and challange the prevailing sentement of matchups in the NBA, and you might even be right... regardless Adelaman is not likely to paly Tag against faster teams but I thinkhe will paly him against Nessy and to some degree Duncan (expect to see Webb and Miller on TD for the most part) I do agree with you that any time the oposition makes a strong un agianst the Kings with penetration the call should go out to Tag, the big boy does indeed fill the paint better than any one else.

i wouldn't. duncan always get his points. tag will need to be trying to keep parker and ginobli out of the paint. when parker erupts, that is when the spurs are nearly unbeatable. and sadly, parker will eat bibby for lunch, so we need tag hang out in the paint to prevent all those easy layups he gets.

i'd rather have webber gaurding TD. yes duncan will probably score a lot, but webber can also take TD out of his comfort zone on the defense end when he shoots his jumpers. duncan likes to guard the paint more then the perimeter, if webber's jumper is falling in, it could force duncan out of the paint, then that would open it up for others to go in there.

it's gonna be a fun game when we host the spurs. if the magic can beat them, the kings should be able to. the spurs are much more exciting then they were last year. and i'm not shocked they beat the suns. i just didn't think it was going to be such a blowout. i'm glad they won, thats half a game we gained on the suns :D WOO HOO! the suns have had a pretty cushy schedule for the most part, and look who they've lost to: kings, spurs and woofs. that says a lot. the haven't beaten the teams that many predict are going to be there in the end.
