Pheonix cant handle the heat!

I find it funny how there are so many sport celebrities at the game. I guess some agents are wising up and telling their clients to go to Heat games now instead of going to Laker games.

Suns down 6 near the end of the 2nd quarter. They are almost never out of a game b/c they can score almost at will.

well the Heat are coming off of that loss to the Rockets...plus that last match up against the Suns they got burned by 15pts....i do expect them to win...DWade seems like he's on a bit of a mission out there...but you would think in order for them to win they'd really have to get Shaq going a bit...

Heat up 1 right now in the 3rd, but still a ton of time left. Should be a great finish to the game.

Miami has bumped the lead back up to 9. Shaq has played less than 20 minutes as he is in foul trouble. Wade has 32.

Wow...did you guys see that very, very, very long 3 pointer by Wade at the buzzer???? What a shot. I bet it's going to be #1 on SportCenter. :D

whats up w the suns lol
Whats up is they are getting taste of what they are going to see in the playoffs, the game will be slower and teams will have time to prepare a game plan and really focus on stopping them. They are explosive no doubt but they just aren't for real. Everyone was talking about this game as a test... well they failed. They just don't have a lot of players with big game/playoff experience and that was obvious tonight. They were just clanging 3's in desperation once the game got tight. If they draw Houston in the first round I don't think I'd pick them to win.

^^^

::shakes head up and down::

I'm loved every minute of it :)

DWade has got to be the Mike of the night on Fantasy Hoops tonight (or whatever its called)

People on here are funny sometimes, one Suns loss to a great team and It's "this is a taste of whats to come in the playoffs" It truely is quite amazing. This game wasn't really a test for them. They already beat the Heat by 15 in Phoenix..it was more important for the heat than the Suns.

Saying the Suns aren't for real is really well...odd. How can a team with a 53-17 record not be for real? c'mon..just think for a second and forget the fact you hate them and actually use your basketball knowledge as I'mn sure you have plenty.

Problem with people saying they will be stopped in the playoffs as teams will have a chance to prepare for them..I don't buy that at all. The Suns are the kind of team who MAKE you play their style of basketball which is an up and down game. I have yet to see a team who can slow them down. Why will that suddenly change in the playoffs? the teams in the west aren't good enough defensively outside of San Antonio to do that and even the Spurs can't really stop their offense.

Playoff experience to me is a bit overrated, there are guys who can bottle it and those who can't. Once you get there It doesn't really matter a whole lot in terms of past experience and it's not like none of them have not made it to the playoffs before

I have said It all season the only team who I see being able to handle the Suns in the west this year is the Spurs. Purely down to what they do on the defensive end. Plus they have good size inside to give Amare and Marion problems. No other west team can stop their offense. I would also put Dallas are on the same level ast San Antonio as being able to beat the Suns due to Dampier presents inside but only if they are all heathly..and the way their key guys have got hurt this year It is quite debatable if they will be all playing come playoff time if they are then yes they could well beat the suns

spurs and dallas are only two teams who could beat the suns in a 7 game series.

On a last note why does the suns losing have any effect on the Kings? the Kings aren't going to catch the Suns in the pacific so why does it matter? or are some of you still bitter about Amare's block?

Here is why the Suns don't scare me. The last 2 seasons the Mavs played the same type of basketball and were very succesful and played great on the road. Kings also beat these teams 2 out of the last 3 years in the playoffs. and the one time they lost it was in 7 games and that was because Van Exel played out of his head.

Now, the Suns will probably play either Memphis or Denver in the first round(barring a monumental collapse by either the Kings or Houston) and both of these teams are coached by coaches who stress defense(especially Memphis). I wouldn't be surprised to see them upset in the 1st round.
