Peja Stojakovic is about to retire?

#1
I don't have official news or link to it in english, but few Serbian sites are reporting that Peja is about to retire because of his back problems. They say that it's a big problem for him every season, so he is close to retire this summer.
Article also says that Detroit is interested for him, but only if he could be healthy...

Anybody has some closer information?

This could work out well for the Hornets. If their GM works it right (ie: getting another Chandler deal done), they could end up far under the cap, even with CP3 starting to make huge cash, for the 2010 offseason.

The original article is about the Hornets future cap space and possibilities on how they may handle it. The article states that one possibility that would work out great for the Hornets is if Peja retires. Another would be a buyout of Peja's contract. It also talks about possibly moving several other players to teams with low cap numbers, including Sacramento!

I didn't read anywhere that Peja actually said he was thinking about retiring. Here is the original article.
