Pedja for Underdog and Wonder Woman and a future draft choice

The problem with the Hulk, as has been mentioned before, is two-fold.

1. Purple, black and green just look horrible together - kind of like a big ugly bruise.
2. Uniform allowances could become a real financial issue and a deal breaker.

...and imagine the public outrage if his transformation ripped through those shorts! Oh, the humanity! Letter writing campaigns, FCC fines...

Thats it! I'm not going to take any more of this Hulk bashing! He is the Incredible Hulk for gods sake! I thought I knew you guys... unbelievable!

And, as upsetting as it has been for me that so many people keep including Bobby in possible trade deals........even I would trade him for Batman....well, if Robin is thrown into the deal. :p

I may have to exercise my No-trade Clause here, 6th:p :D

Know who I think could do real damage? GUMBY!

Unassuming character would be a plus (hey, character is everything) and his contortionist abilities could stretch over bigs and grad boards with ease. Forget Superman...or self-proclaimed ones. Gumby rules!

Gumby is soft! Literally!

YES! Who needs Gumby, get the Hulk in there...

:::VF ponders the turn thread takes:::

I think we should upgrade @ the 3 by trading Peja for Gleek the Monkey (Wonder Twins). Actually, Jayna would probably work too, in terms of getting tougher.

Uh oh, better stay with the "character" of the thread, or you're gonna get it. ;)

OFFICIAL SUPERHEROES UNION RESPONSE:

I'm sorry. A diligent search of our membership rolls has failed to detect anyone named lamarodom as a registered Superhero.

Thank you for your inquiry.

I just revealed my super power. During the day I am vj9999, an ordinary Kings fan. At night I turn into the amazing COPY/PASTE man. Some people know me as ctrl-c/ctrl-v. :)

Yeah, but he's green and therefore stands out in a crowd. And hey, have you every tried to HURT a gumby? Unhurtable. Literally.

Purple, black and green don't go together remember?

KP has already mentioned him buddy. Check one page back to start seeing people's responses to the idea. ;)

Yeah, but if passers can see him, well...can you IMAGINE the turnover downslide? Kinda like those T-shirts college centers wear, you know, to distinguish their "centeredness"? Gumby's "green"ness could distinguish him like no stinkin' T could!

There's a big problem with Gumby.

Salaries don't work out to get Pokey in the deal unless with give up a few extra players, and I think that Gumby really flourishes from their play as a tandem.

Besides, if we get Gumby, then we're going to have those Blockheads popping up all over Sacramento. And, really, who wants that??

Look thats my whole point. Gumby needs IMO to have Pokey to get his shots for him. Do we really want someone who is so mentally soft that he depends on others in order for him to produce?

I hope we land batman. He'd be a good pickup for us. It would get rid of that "soft" image the kings have.

Gumby, with or without Pokey, is overated in my opinion. Everyone talks about his ability to stretch and block shots, but I seen him bowled over WAY too many times by bigger Supes. Every team he plays for has a team attendant whose sole responsibility is to scrape Gumby off of the Backboard and pick pieces of him out of the net and rim. I'll give him this though, he's never missed a game due to injury. He just bounces right back every time.
