peja's on the trading block for exactly one year, ladies and gentleman. whether we want to admit it or not, he's gonna be shopped around, before we lose him thru free agency and get nothing of value in return. other teams will be interested. there's no doubt in my mind of that. if nothing happens by thursday, it doesn't matter. i hate to burst the collective bubble, but these rumors are just beginning....
While Pedja may still be on the block, do not rule out the possibility of him signing a lucrative extension. It might not happen, but then again - it might.
At any rate, once the trade deadline is past for this season we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief and wait at least until TDOS to resume the speculation.

i love peja...we have seen it...Kings lose with CWebb era...Kings have to build around Bibby,Peja,BMiller...Kings were no 1 last season...Peja was running 2nd for MVP...Kings were playing great...CWebb returns...chemistry got lost..Kings lost a lot of close games unlike before winning it in wide margins...and now...Kings are slowly fading. sorry just felt very frustrated with the way Kings are playing lately and i don't see them playing well enough to win it all. i'm tired of hoping and watching. BMiller will be a great fit for PF and what Kings need is a rebounding defensive Center. Yes numbers says it that CWebb puts up great numbers but does not translate to wins and is a defensive liability. i suggest trade CWebb now not he's still uninjured or lose him and the season if he goes out for another injury. i'm not against CWebb, actually he's one of the reason why i'm a Kings fan but trading him for younger athletic defensive players would truly help the Kings this year and years to come.

Sorry, but I'm just too tired of this same old rhetoric to give much of an argument. I will say, however, that if you're hoping Webber is traded you're going to be in for another disappointment. He's not going anywhere. You may not have faith in him but Petrie, Adelman AND the Maloofs do and they're not going to give him away. It's real easy to say "We need to trade Webber." What's harder to do, and many have tried, is to propose a trade that leaves us in as good or better shape without him as we are with him.

I meant (didn't come out that way) that no way they would trade Okafor to us for Peja. In fact I think its safe to say that Okafor won't be traded anytime soon.
I think any GM would take that deal if we were offered Ok for Peja. Okafor is putting up great numbers for his first year. He is IMO the leading canidate for rookie of the year.

So if we trade Bibby for Mutombo and somehow sign Alonso - that would take care of rebounding.
PG - Webber - he always wanted to play that position anyways
SG - Okafor - he has a great "micro range" game
SF - Mobley - We have to have a midget not to be discriminating towards short people
PF - Miller - You have to have a white dude in the line up (political correctness)
C - Mutombo - alwys wanted to have someone who can point finger (literaly)
