Great job Prophetess! I'm afraid VF may have missed the entire game. We had hail that looked like snow in the valley and they have had at least a foot of snow in the mountains over the last 24 hrs with large areas with power outages. Lots of Kings fans probably missed out, unless they had batteries for the radio. Now I REALLY know why fresh batteries are so important for emergencies. What a game to miss!

Thanks so much, Prophetess! I was really worried about people missing out because Mother Nature chose to dump 3 to 4 feet of snow in my area in the past three days. I was without power from yesterday morning until about 1 this afternoon.

Luckily, I was able to follow the game on a 8 inch TV (black and white) that runs with batteries. For some strange reason, I was able to pick up enough of the signal from News10 to get blurry pimages AND the sound. It took every C cell battery I had in the house, including all my flashlights AND the two wall clocks, but I at least knew our Kings had won.

OK, I told you - portable radio and extra batteries should be in everyone's "power is out and Kings are playing" emergency kit.

I am making a trip down to the local Ace Hardware as soon as the roads clear. I'm thinking at least three complete changes of C cells for the little TV, just in case.
