This is a thread for you VF21. You can close it (Obviously that's gonna happen) but I just wanna say thanks for the PBP the other night. It must have been hard with all thats going on. I appreciate you. Hopefully you'll be able to do the Knicks game too, but I'll understand if you don't. I always really look forward to your PBP's (I don't get to see one Kings game a year, so your PBP means alot to me)> Anyway, I guess thats it. Thanks. And hopefully I'll wake up (from Europe) to nice PBP. Much appreciation, DD.

Ditto here. VF has been a staple on this board and is a classy lady with good insights....I just hope she was BS'ing on her thread to keep Artest away. I hope she's still maintains her fervor for being a Kings fan after whats been transpiring these couple of days. Artest will be great for this team.

I have never pulled punches or expressed anything but my honest feelings, good or bad, on this board. I'm not going to change now.

Winning isn't everything. IMHO all the things that made this franchise so special are slowly being destroyed. I love this team but I think they're making a big mistake in so blatantly pandering to the demands of one athlete who clearly puts himself above everyone else.

What does that say to all those who haven't caused problems and made obscene and outrageous demands?

I love this team but I'm sad because on this day something special died.

It's just unbelievable to watch this guy in some other uniform...It's like one part of my heart is gone,and I think it can't be recovered(same thing with Peja who won't ever get back to play for Kings)

VF, in one respect Artest is selfless and that is on the court. He is a team player, and plays the game that way.

I know he's a monster, and believe me my first attraction to the Kings came during Peja's first year and my son wore his jerseys all around LA. The team has been destroyed the last couple of years. The style of play has been awful. Not basketball "the way it should be". I know your allegiance is also a territorial one, but the quality of play combined with the fan base are what brought a universal attraction to the team.

Maybe just maybe Artest and ONE MORE GUY will improve the team on an entertainment level that will help you push aside the past. As I recall you were certainly enjoying Bonzie this year.

Nope, tears here too. The last piece of that wonderful team is gone. It was inevitable, but it still hurts. I can only hope to feel that way about this team again some day. Pedja is an absolute class human being. I will miss him.

I was so upset at work yesterday when a coworker said the trade was happening. Everyone was telling me to breathe. I guess I'm one of those fans in the minority that is against the trade. It seems the Maloofs are in a win at any cost mind set, but at what cost to the team? You may not like a player, which I don't, but you should a least be able to respect him, and I don't. I feel like someone let the air out of my sails.
