what would we have to give up to get Pau Gasol?
Memphis would make it sting, that's for sure. Probably Mike and KMart, or Brad and KMart, and Artest whatever to make it work. But it would probably involved KMart because he is so young, has so much promise, and isn't making that much yet. This would be insurance for taking Mike or Brad or Artest off our hands.
I would love to have Gasol here, but it will sure cost us which would be hard to lose KMart, but I'd do it because Pau is one of those guys that is a very refined big man that don't come around that much. While KMart is good, and shows great potential, he is a SG and that along with a PG is a position much easier filled than a 7 footer with a great shot and perennial All Star ability.

There was a thread devoted to this a couple of weeks ago. The majority seemed to feel that any deal involving KMart or our first-round draft pick was unacceptable. Reports are that Memphis is seeking some combination of a promising young player, draft picks and expiring contracts for Gasol.
