Peja's back still isn't right. The disc sometimes affects nerves, which can cause different problems - including pain, numbness, etc. After the last game, Peja said the disc had been pinching a nerve and causing his leg to go somewhat numb, I believe.

I think this is something that he's going to either be able to play with on a somewhat limited basis, or at some point it will get so bad that he has to have surgery to repair it. From what I understand, disc problems do not simply get better and disappear on their own.

Pinched nerve causes weakness in affected limbs, too. A leg can just not support your weight, for example, and you just collapse. Not fun....
