Pacers are very deep!!!

The two Jones(Fred J. and James J.) are playing like an all-star! They had only 8 players playing and miller, foster, pollard, johnson, bender are injured plus the 3 best players who are suspended. The pacers have a very deep team!!

They almost won at Seattle, and James Jones almost became the next Reggie Miller.. Shot 6 triples, and had a career high 27 pts. I think the kings will have a hard time beating the Pacers this week. And i bet they will lose!

I hope Pollard will play and humilate the one who the kings traded for him.

First off, Pollard is completely incapable of humiliating anyone, and secondly, they have had wins against Boston and Charlotte both at home. Now, having said that, how they beat Minnesota I don't know.....that is impressive.

with the minutes that their bench will be getting this season, they are going to be the deepest team in the playoffs.... even their 12th man will get damn near starters minutes at one point and o'neil, jackson and artest(if he's eligible for the playoffs) arent even injured.....

I rather suspected you weren't really a Kings fan, considering you NEVER pick the Kings to win in the prediction game threads. ;)

Scot Pollard is not capable of being a true starting center in the NBA any longer. Don't get me wrong - I like Pollard, loved having him as Vlade's back-up on the Kings, and was sad when he was traded. Unfortunately, he has had some major setbacks, including the back problems that continue to haunt him off and on. The Kings know him all too well and know exactly what he can and cannot do. The Arco crowd will welcome him back, as we do all former Kings players, but after that he isn't going to have a really good time in his old arena. And that's IF he's even able to play.

Scot's looked a lot more like his old self this year and has actually been productive. Boarding again, providing some defense. But not sure if he's physically going to be able to hold up or not.

And that, right there, is the crux of the whole problem with Scot. From what I've read, the pain in his back is chronic - sometimes better, sometimes worse - and never completely gone.

Hopefully having to step in while O'Neal is out won't be too much for him.

Honestly, I'm a Kings fan since 1999 (when J-Will and company almost beat the Jazz). But, when Webber returns after his injury and played like my 89 year old grandma, who jumps more higher and moves a little bit faster than him, I'm more now a fan player. He just messes the excitement of the old passing game of Kings basketball. But still, i like the kings and watch their game but more a Bibby-Doug-Hedo-Pollard-Jason-Gerald-Barry fan.

How about Fred Jones, James Jones, Harrison for Peja and Bobby

you mean the passing game of Kings ball that has been running through Webber, Brad, Doug, and Bibby the whole season?

Not to mention the passing game that he has been integral to for the past 7 years.

I have to wonder at what point in the season the whole Webber issue will QUIT dwelling on his performance at the end of the regular season last year, and move forward in time to at least the playoffs of 2004 and maybe, (fingers crossed) even into the current year?

Webber is averaging 19.6 points per game, 10.7 boards AND 5.1 assists, along with .92 blocks per game and 1.08 steals. That is pretty blasted impressive to me! And his assist number is only slightly lower than out point guard (Bibby has 6.0)...

There are lots of things people use to continue to criticize Webber. I simply cannot understand how people can make comments like "messes the excitement of the old passing game of the Kings."

...sigh...
