The 6-1, 185-pound guard averaged 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25 games off of the bench last season, missing 51 games due to a left wrist ligament tear. In five seasons with the Kings (2000-01 • 2004-05), Jackson averaged 11.4 points, 2.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 23.1 minutes in 294 regular season games. In 2002-03, he became just the second point guard in league history to win the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award after averaging 15.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 59 games.

eBobby is not only a talented player and great competitor, but he is an individual of tremendous character,” said West.  eHe will be a veteran leader and an explosive scorer, and we are thrilled to have him in a Memphis Grizzlies uniform.”

Ostertag, 7-2, 280 pounds, owns career averages of 4.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.70 blocks and 20.0 minutes in 696 regular season games with the Utah Jazz (1995-96 • 2003-04) and Sacramento Kings (2004-05). Last season with the Kings, he averaged 1.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 9.9 minutes in 56 games. Originally selected by Utah with the 28th pick in the 1995 NBA Draft, he was signed by Sacramento as a free agent in 2004.

Wells played 128 games with Memphis, averaging 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 23.1 minutes. Last season, he surpassed 500 career steals with four on Nov. 9 at Houston, finishing the season with 576 steals through seven NBA seasons. He was acquired by the Grizzlies on Dec. 3, 2003 from Portland in exchange for Wesley Person, a conditional 2004 first round draft pick and cash considerations. The Grizzlies exercised the team option on Wells‼sup>TMs contract for the 2005-06 season on July 22, 2005.

Iv been hearing of a 6 team , 20 player trade rumor, with seems kind of intense but i wanna see what happens.

has there ever been a trade that big before?

Nope, some of the names being mentioned is Utah, Memphis, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, and even the Kings are being tossed around.

Where are you hearing this?

i wonder how long it would take to engineer a trade of that size. there's a lot of factors involved in just a 2 or 3 team trade. coming to an agreement amongst which 6 or more teams could all be satisfied seems unlikely.

Our part could very easly be done, what Memphis does and Utah does means we are part of the trade, so in the end it could look like we get Wells, and well rest of the 19 players move around :D

Another board mentioned this and they also said that Walker was headed to Miami in a sign and trade and he will get about 51 mill. over 6 years. Should be an interesting couple of days.

51 million over 6 years? why would the heat give him that? there's little sense in that kindofa signing for that kindofa player. they re-signed udonis haslem to a solid deal, and they just threw down 100 million on shaq, and they're gonna need to lock up wade in the near future, so what sense is there in giving a guy like walker that much money? give him a contract, sure, but is the demand for walker really this high?

Just wondering.. Why in the next couple of days? Is there a deadline or something like that?

I will have to see that number to beleive it -- given that the Heat are more or less bidding against themselves with Walker and nobody else seems to be offering him more then the minimum.

Would at least take them out of the running to steal Peja from us.

This, too, appears to be a thread that is simply destined to end up as a redundancy for some already in existence. Since the title is pretty misleading, I'm going to close it.
