Unless I'm mistaken I think that after we signed him to the second 10-day contract, he played in exactly 2 more games, with 2 minutes of garbagetime cleanup in each. Seems kind of a waste of money to have even resigned him if that was the plan, but maybe they were just taking a look at him in practice.

I'm thinking maybe he came across with a "here for a paycheck" kinda attitude instead of the enthusiasm the team is used to, and paired with the fact he probably played under par in practice.
