Naw you can save your kiss for nbrans since he managed another good trade with those guys.

SLAB said:Well, Im now pronouncing Bonzi as extremly expendable...So I have come up with this...
Kings Get...
Caron Butler... 16.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2,5 apg
Etan Thomas... 4.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.2 apg
Antonio Daniels... 7.2 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 2.9 apg
Wizards Get...
Bonzi Wells... 14.6 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 3.1 apg
Kenny Thomas... 8.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.9 apg
Jason Hart... 3.6 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.2 apg
2006 First Round Pick
I'm torn on the idea of trading Bonzi before the deadline. While there is a chance that he'll go Mobley on us and leave with us getting nothing I also love the prospect of a healthy Bonzi and Artest combo. I agree that the only type of player we trade Bonzi for is a Big, I'm not so sure who we can get back for him.nbrans said:While I do think the Kings should trade Bonzi before the deadline I'm not a big fan of Butler, Daniels and Thomas.

Do these look like the numbers of a game changing player? And I have never been all that impressed with his D. BTW if he is 6-10 the so is Kenny Thomas!

An ideal situation is if we can somehow pursue Ben Wallace to sign in Sacramento as he is UFA after this season (I think), and give away KT/Corliss for nothing (maybe for someone like Antonio Davis since his contract expires at the end of the year), and resign

You have to get your fact straight. KT is 6'7". If he is actually 6'10" plus, then we wouldn't be having this debate now.
OvechKiN said:There are quite a few players with their contracts expiring at the end of this season. For the rebuild of this team, I say it is essential to get rid of KT's Contract.
It would also be nice to be able to get rid of COrliss Williamsons also
Just make sure that Ron Ron makes the first call to Big Ben at 12:01 am on the day when free agents can talk with other teams. Aren't they as tight as Cat and Francis?OvechKiN said:I say no to that trade, because we dont want to lock up anymore salary on the non-essential guys.

Would Boston bite? Since The candy mans 6M contract expires after this year.
DavisAggie said:Would free cap space for Bonzi. I just think Bibby/Bonzi/Artest could be one of the best 1-2-3 combinations in the league, with KM and ‘Cisco as backups.
