Oh good lord -- Chandler/Nene/Gasol $$

I don't get this. Kwame Brown is worth throwing money at? So the team is doing math and thinking two nothing players who really don't fill a need at 5 million a year is better than one player at 10 million who does address a need? This is why I don't worry about overpaying a player you need. It's better than paying two players you don't need.

Yeah we have to spend. For a team in our position, with what we've been told, it's shocking we're hearing a rumor that 10M is too much for Daly.

Jordan just signed for $8 million, so how shocking is it really? If the Kings turned down an $8 million deal, now that would be pretty shocking. Dally seems to be pushing his market value at $10 million. Now it's a negotiation.

The fact that the Kings have had conversations with Chandler and Barea is intriguing to me. There is a chess game going on with several players on the board, not just Dally.

No one has signed any contracts yet. It is not even legal for teams to come to a verbal agreement prior to the 9th (can't talk about it anyway.) All any team can do is make an offer.

Reports this morning are that the Warriors are offering $10mil per to DeAndre Jordan. Which is just....well.

In any case obviously that would pretty much lock Dalembert into a $10mil per deal as well.

Jordan may very well be worth that in a couple years, anyway. He put up very good numbers in somewhat limited numbers. His youth makes him even more attractive, although that's clearly a huge contract for someone who is only semi-proven.

Will Clippers match? They really like him next to Blake, and both of them are best friends.

He is getting a huge contract based on 1 good season. His attitude and work ethic has always been questioned and this deal is a reasonable risk for GW. Those questions on Jordan are the reason why he slipped into the 2nd round of the draft.
