officiating tonight

just a <****ing disgrace. not saying the kings would have won with decent refs, but common, its sad to call what happened tonight watchable entertainment. If I were a sponsor for this game, I would cancel any future engagements if possible.

your thoughts on what you watched tonight...

It was bad. Cousins is being disrespected by the refs. That doesn't excuse his poor performances, but the refs have made it a point to make life frustrating for him. The Chicago game was pretty badly officiated as well. You could say this is due to home openers, but anyone watching the NBA for a good amount of time knows the refs are the worst in American pro sports.

Cousins always gets treated like that, its nothing new. and after tonights pathetic performance, the last thing you should be worried about is officiating.

34 fouls called on the Kings and 17 on the TPups. Obviously a one sided poorly officiated game. 13 seconds in the first touch foul was called on DMC. Many more poor calls during this game. Add in poor shooting and the Kings were lucky to only be down by 12 when the buzzer sounded. Barea should be fined for the flop when Freddette touched him.

The other threads here tonight are ridiculous. Thanks for posting this.

They started with a touch foul on cuz, thats the ref signal for "we're shutting you down"

our guards went and drew contact again and again and got nothing. But thats this league, you have to play through it.

Unfortunately your correct. As a player, when you see how the ref's are going to officiate the game, you have to adjust, or your going to be in foul trouble. Your not going to change a call, and your not going to change how they ref the game. If you ***** and moan, you only encourage the ref's to have less tolerance toward you. As a result, you don't get the benefit of the doubt on bordeline calls. Its Cuz's third year. Its time to wake up and adjust your attitude and your approach to the game. Period!

It's no secret the Kings suck, but yeah the officiating prevents them from un-sucking lol The NBA can't make it any clearer that they refuse to see certain small market teams do well. Sadly when Stern leaves I think someone even more corrupt will take over, and the officiating will be even more biased (if that's even possible).
